- On the first natural 20 critical hit the target must make a CON save @ DC 11 where a failed saved banishes the creature to the prison in the Hall of Reckoning on the plane of Pandemonium. The creature must make this save each time it receives any further critical hits.This effect replaces drawing from the critical hit deck for this weapon.
- If the blade is used for bludgeoning damage it does 1d8 and cannot cause a critical hit or banishing effect.
WARNING
If the blade takes the life of OR banishes a non-evil creature, the wielder will suffer one of the following permanent consequences:
- A wielder can acquire all 10 consequences.
- Consequences 1,2,3 and 6 can be acquired over and over.
- Except where noted, there are NO cures for these consequences. Only returning the blade back to the Hall of Reckoning will remove these consequences for good.

- Every 7 days there is a 50% chance the owner generates a nauseating odor. Causes disadvantage on all charisma checks and social interactions start off unfriendly for the next 24 hours.
- Every seven days you must drink 1 oz* 🩸 or suffer 4 levels of exhaustion until you find a blood meal. The sword temporarily turns into a chalice for just this purpose.
- Every seven days there is a 50% chance you flog yourself in public declaring you took a non-evil life/lives taking a temporary 1d4 reduction to charisma for 24 hours.The sword temporarily turns into a flog for just this purpose.
- Every day there is a 25% chance all attack, saving throw and skill rolls for that day are made at disadvantage.
